Your XLS or CSV menu file should consist of two columns: dish name and description or ingredients of the dish. For each dish you wish to generate an image for, create a row, and in the first column, input the dish name. In the second column, include a brief description or the ingredients of the dish. Below we present a video demonstrating how to create and download a sample menu file in the Google Sheets editor.
Step 2: Bulk generate food images using foodpix.ai
Log in to Foodpix.ai and select the Generate photos by menu option from the top menu of the website. Next, click the Choose file button and indicate the location of the file with your menu created according to the schema in Step 1. From the menu, choose your preferred background color: black or white, and then press the Generate button. After a few moments, images generated according to your menu will begin to appear in the panel below.
Review the generated images to ensure they align with your restaurant’s brand and presentation standards. To download your selected images, click on the download icon located in the bottom right corner beneath each generated image. You can easily mark the ones you like the most with a star and delete images that don’t meet your preferences. Additional image adjustments may be necessary, but having three images generated for each dish streamlines the selection process.
